The Indian Army will buy 1,770 Future Ready Combat Vehicles (FRCVs) to transform tank warfare. These advanced vehicles are likely to change how tanks fight in battles. These advanced armored vehicles, equipped with artificial intelligence, will allow for improved operational efficiency and adaptability in various combat scenarios. The FRCVs have a large touchscreen and can be controlled with a video game controller, making them easy for soldiers to use. Experts estimate the cost of these vehicles at around ₹60,000 crore.
