Nuhash Humayun’s achievements in Hollywood
Nuhash Humayun, a talented filmmaker from Bangladesh is making significant progress in Hollywood. Recently, he celebrated a major achievement by becoming a member of the Writers Guild of America (WGA). This recognition highlights his growing influence in the film industry as he works on multiple projects both in Hollywood and in his home country.

Nuhash first gained international attention with his short film “Mashari”, which won the Jury Award for Best Narrative Short at the Atlanta Film Festival. The Oscar-worthy film won acclaim at various festivals, paving the way for Nuhash to work with notables like Oscar-winning director Jordan Peele and actor Riz Ahmed, who joined as executive producers.
After signing with Anonymouss Content, one of Hollywood’s top agencies, Nuhash’s network within the industry has expanded significantly. He noted, “After this deal, my exposure to the Hollywood market increased. The company started working with the Hollywood industry in full swing.” This partnership has opened doors for him to work on exciting new projects.
Currently, Nuhash is producing the second season of his acclaimed horror anthology series, “Pet Katta Shaw.” He collaborates closely with his mother Gultekin Khan has written three of the four new stories for the upcoming season. It marks her debut in writing a web series, showcasing their family bond and shared passion for storytelling.
Nuhash expressed his desire to make films that resonate with Hollywood and Bangladeshi audiences. He believes in the importance of making a mark on the international stage as well as working in his mother tongue. He said, I want to work equally in two places.
Nuhash remains focused on his goals as he tackles the challenges of the film industry. He is currently finalizing the script for his first feature film “Moving Bangladesh”, which explores the life of a struggling entrepreneur in Dhaka. Nuhash Humayun is all set to make a lasting impact on the world film landscape with his talent and determination.
