New serial drama about election story of flat owner association

Banglavision is going to launch a new drama serial titled ‘Common Problem‘ which focuses on the election of an apartment living society in Dhaka. Tapu Khan will direct the series, which will begin airing Sunday. Ahsan Alamgir will produce its screenplay. The network will air the drama every week on Sunday and Monday at 8:30 PM.

The story unfolds in a Dhaka apartment complex inhabited by residents from diverse backgrounds. Some own their flats, others rent. Residents rely on a committee to meet their needs, and as election time approaches, candidates begin their campaigns.

Election competition

The race is hot between the two main candidates: former actress Champakali and businessman Zulmat Ali. Badrul Chowdhury has been nominated as Election Commissioner by outgoing President Zulmat. However, Champakli opposed this choice, insisting on an impartial commissioner. He threatened to boycott the election if the demand was not met.

Young leader Rahul stepped in to mediate the conflict, but both candidates stood their ground. As election day approaches, tensions rise, with both candidates spending money on support rallies. Opportunists in the apartment stir the pot, encouraging candidates to stick to their decisions.

On the final nomination day, there was a twist: Champakli failed to submit his nomination papers. Instead, Zulmat introduced a new candidate named Mr. Musharraf. The series promises to offer a mix of comedy and drama as it explores the interactions and conflicts between the apartment dwellers during this election.

There are Marjuk Russell, Chazhi Alam, Saidur Rahman Pavel, Shahnaz Khushi and many more, each playing unique roles that contribute to the unfolding drama. ‘Common Problem’ aims to entertain viewers by highlighting the daily problems faced by apartment dwellers in Dhaka.

Tapu Khan emphasizes that the series combines reality with humor. He invited everyone to watch the play, hoping they would enjoy the mix of funny situations and relatable experiences. The play highlights the dynamics of apartment living and the competitive spirit of selection, making it entertaining and thought-provoking.
